Research

My research work is centered on NeuroMorpho.org, with a focus on literature mining, morphology metadata curation, and careful review of digitally reconstructed neuronal and glial data.

Literature mining and morphology metadata curation

I support NeuroMorpho.org through literature mining and neuroinformatics curation for digitally reconstructed neurons and glia. The work requires careful review of papers, figures, captions, supplementary files, repository links, tracing methods, and data availability statements.

Reconstruction Evidence

Evaluate articles for evidence of bifurcating, skeletonized neuronal or glial reconstructions and identify tracing methods such as Neurolucida, Imaris Filament Tracer, Amira, Vaa3D, and Simple Neurite Tracer.

Data Review

Review figures, captions, supplementary materials, data statements, and repository links to determine whether morphology data are available, inaccessible, shared-source, or absent.

Metadata Curation

Document reconstruction details, tracing methods, confidence levels, DOI and PMID links, author information, data-source availability, and scientific data provenance.
